I adored Walkers Marmite crisps. but they were always difficult to get hold of, total nightmare infact. Today I discovered Marmite do their own, Thank god! I've just demolished 2 packets & I have to say I'm very dissapointed. They're not a patch on Walkers. ( The 2nd packet was to make sure I wasn't making a mistake!) I've heard Walkers have stopped making them now which is very upsetting as I believe I'm addicted, so Maybe Marmite should buy the receipe? Afterall Marmite should do the best marmite snacks! And so far you're not doing Marmite justice, no wonder so many people hate it. Come on Marmite, get it together!! I've been eating marmite as long as I've been breathing its the best but when you start mixing it in your snacks you mess it up!
Have to agree with Jenrock. I love the marmite taste and will eat it off my fingers, but this just isn't 'it'. I actually think the flavouring is not only wrong but too overpowering for the simple crisp to handle and believe that - even if not changed - it would benefit from being toned down a little bit. shame - I was really excited about these.

OH MY GOD!! You genuinly think they are better than walkers??? There was me thinking, "oh fantastic, Unilever are going to take over producing Marmite crisps" hmmmmmmmmmm, what a let down!! :( Not only are the majority of them burnt (well and truly over cooked), but to make things worse (from the point of view of a person allergic to the stuff), some bright spark decided to add GARLIC powder!!!!! Come on Unilver/Marmite, wake up. The sales of your own marmite crisp version up against the Walkers (cooked properly), are not going to do well at all. What a *** shame.

WOW, the new Marmite Crisps are amazing, a thousand times better than the Walkers Marmite ones that I had been buying! These are really excellent in both flavour and quality, for a start these are properly cooked to a lovely dark colour instead of the pallid near white of the Walkers version......Superior in every way! Like Crisps USED to be! Well I've had my say and no I don't own shares or work for Marmite :) but wish I did. hehehe Al
